Kathreen Louise Cave, 91 of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Beverly Living Center, Hagerstown, MD. Born August 4, 1915, in Funkstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Anna Wilhide Lowman. She was employed as a nurse's aid at several nursing homes in Hagerstown including Jackson Nursing Home and Coffman Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Cave, January 15, 1975. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Lou Oestereich of Boonsboro, MD; four grandchildren, Terry Brown and wife Tama of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Timothy Brown, Keith Brown and Michael Brown all of Hagerstown; five great grandchildren, Andrew Brown and wife Julie of Seaford, DE, Carlie Heverley, and Brittany Brown, both of Hagerstown, Aimee Hoffman and Brooke Hoffman both of Hancock, MD; one great great granddaughter Dylan Brown of Seaford, DE; one brother Tom Lowman of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Lowman, Jean Smith and Martha Trite. She attended Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bakersville, MD. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Omission of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 Burial will be at a later date.
