KATHERYN B. MCGILL, 96, formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, August 12, 2007 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Born January 14, 1911 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Ruth Beitler Bowers. She was retired after thirty-three years with the State of Maryland, Department of Parole and Probation. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Robert L. McGill of Norcross, Georgia, and Richard L. McGill of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday at the Leitersburg Cemetery. Rev. Richard H. Jewell will officiate. There will be no viewing.
