Katherine Sue Peck, 72, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.

Born July 25, 1953, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace (Burkett) Godlove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Peck.

Katherine was formerly employed by Merkle. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, including cookouts, holiday gatherings, mushroom hunting, and fishing. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She also loved listening to 1950s rock music and attending carnivals.

Katherine is survived by her son, Gary Peck; her daughter, Betty Myers and husband, Bob; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Chris and Hazel; and six brothers, Earl, Max, John, Herman, Charles, and Murph.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dave, and one great-grandchild, Garrett.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm.

The funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Allen Robinson will officiate.

Burial in Shanktown Cemetery, Big Pool, MD, following the service.
