Katherine Cumellia Flanary, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at Doey's House.

Born September 4, 1939 I Olney, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Virginia Pearl (Shipe) Johnson.

Katherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years on January 31, 2020, Earl Ralph Flanary, Sr.; one grandson, Skyler Hersh, one granddaughter, Mary Goins, and her daughter-in-law, Andrea Flanary.

She is lovingly remembered by her seven children, Martha Hardy, Michael Flanary (Anita), Stephen Flanary, Wanda Cassidy (Beau), Earl Flanary, Jr. (Lisa), Pamela Hersh (Joe), and James Flanary (Teresa); 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

Graveside services will be 11am Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Linthicum Chapel Cemetery in Clarksville, MD.
