KATHE MARIE WHIPP, 43, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center. Born January 8, 1971, in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Mary C. Warrenfeltz Whipp. Kathe was a 1989 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and earned several undergraduate and graduate degrees in education. She was a teacher at Greencastle Antrim High School. She is survived by a brother, James B. Whipp, II and wife, Cindy; a niece Heather Whipp and a nephew, Josh Whipp. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Tim Close will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
