June Arleen Wolff, 89, a resident of Hagerstown Healthcare, and formerly of Maugansville, MD, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. June was born on February 4, 1929 to the late Clarence S. Carpenter and Margaret (Tressler) Carpenter. In 1950, June graduated from the Washington County Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and worked at the Washington County Hospital, Camp Misty Mount as a camp nurse, and Fairview Outdoor School as a school nurse. On May 13, 1967, she was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses, and over the next 51 years, she enjoyed sharing the Bibles message with others. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Leslie Wolff Jr. She is survived by her sons, Leslie Dean Wolff and his wife, Mary, of Hagerstown, MD, and Jeffrey Lynn Wolff Sr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Salisbury, MD; three grandchildren, Susan M. Lippold and her husband, Brian, of Cumberland, MD, Jeffrey Lynn Wolff Jr., of Salisbury, MD, and Crystal Wolff Stephenson and her husband, Charles, of Morgantown, WV; eight great-grandchildren, Hillard, Taylor, Dawn, Ashley, Christopher, Matthew, Crystal, and Charlie; two sisters, Jean Annette Poole of Maugansville, MD, and Joyce Marie Mauk of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 2pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 30 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown, MD. Jonathan Robinson officiating.
