JUNE A'LEE NIGH, 82, of Funkstown, Maryland passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born May 27, 1931, in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Cora E. Baker Davis. June was employed with Commercial Credit Inc. for seven years, previously employed with Consumer Credit Service. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown and a member of the choir and Hand-Bell Choir and served as financial secretary for seventeen years. June is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Richard W. Nigh; a daughter, Barbara J. Tingle of Hagerstown, MD; a son, Robert H. Nigh of Hagerstown, MD; and four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 11am, Wednesday, April 16 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Funkstown Maryland. The Rev. Michael K. Louia will officiate. Burial will be in Funkstown Cemetery. The family will receive friend Tuesday from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The family requests the omission of flowers.
