June LaFawn Hite, 91, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away, Thursday morning, November 14, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center.  Born April 30, 1933 in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Curtis and Mildred (Mathna) Ruth.

LaFawn was previously employed at Angstrom Precision, McCrory's, and Legalon. She loved doing crafts, crocheting, making cards, gardening and flowers.

LaFawn is survived by one daughter, Patricia Griffith (David); one son, Dennis L. Hite (Wendy); seven grandchildren, Brian, Desiree, Sierra, Tabitha, Amanda, Tiffany, and Alyissa; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces; and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell B. Hite; her step father, Robert Collins, one sister, Fay Michaels (Mike); one great grandson, John R. Seabolt, Jr.; and one granddaughter, Cinnamon Joy Hite.

Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, November 22, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown with Pastor Brandon Hartle officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 5-7pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the funeral home.
