Julia Marie Shifflett, 80, of Hagerstown MD, passed away, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Creekside Nursing Home.

Born September 28, 1942 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Goldie (Cunningham) Shifflett.

Julia was a homemaker and a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and helping others in any way she could.

Julia was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Johnny Shifflett, and one sister, Myrtle Pereschuck.

She is survived by her six children, Jesse Hall (Sherie), of Hagerstown, Tom Hall (Lori), Hagerstown, Robert Pereschuck (Lisa), Hagerstown, Lisa Younker (Dave), of Boonsboro, Ernest Socks (Tina), Hagerstown, and Tina Socks, of Hagerstown; three brothers, Roy, Richard, and Robert Shifflett; and two sisters, Esther Socks and Elizabeth Toasten; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6pm on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Allen Robinson will officiate.
