Obituary

JULIA MARY HUMELSINE, 95, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Williamsport Retirement Village in Williamsport. Born January 14, 1919 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Ada May Easterday Cooper. Julia was a member of Hagerstown Church of The Brethren. She was a former member of First Brethren Church and Missionary Society. She was formerly employed at Katie O'Connor's and then Marcie & Me. Julia is survived by two daughters, Linda Kreilick (Bill Butler) of Freehold, NJ, and Teresa Humelsine of Gulf Breeze, FL.; one brother, Richard Cooper of Hagerstown; one grandson, Randy Bartles of Belmar, NJ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmert C. Humelsine; one daughter, Patricia L. Humelsine; two sisters, Ruth Stoddard and Kathleen Brumbaugh; four brothers, William Cooper, Leon Cooper, Gerald Cooper and Raymond Cooper. Services will be held Monday, January 5, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, MD. Rev's Tim and Audrey Hollenberg-Duffey will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hagerstown Church of The Brethren, Music Program, 15 South Mulberry Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740 or charity of choice.
