Judith Louise Wood, 95, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Coffman Nursing Home. She was born on August 22, 1929 to the late Elmer Sylvester Messinger and Mabel Myers Messinger.

Judith taught Home Economics in Washington County for many years before her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Josephson (Rich), and her brother, Homer "Pete" Messinger.

She is survived by her son, Ronald J. Wood and his wife, Karen, her grandson, Jeremy J. Wood and his wife, Catie, and her great-grandchildren, Michael J. Wood, Tyler L. Wood, and Savannah G. Wood.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Pastor Rich Kittle will officiate.

Interment will take place at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
