Judith Karen Turner, 85, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Charlotte's Home in Maugansville, MD.

Born September 18, 1938, in Sharpsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Ruby Irene (Mose) Saunders.

Judith was previously employed with London Fog, Fuji Color Processing, and JC Penney Co. She loved to play Bingo, cards, scrabble, and other board games; and she loved to garden. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and camping.

She is survived by her four children, Jesse Hill, Sr. (wife, Rhonda), Henry Hill (wife, Norma), Sue Matthews (husband, Danny), and Julie Mason (husband, Terrence Baldwin); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Shaffer, Rebecca Slate, and Mary Burkley; four brothers, Jimmy Saunders, John Saunders, Robert Saunders, and Timothy Saunders.

In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Turner; former husband, Henry Theodore Hill, Sr.; daughter, Beverly McNabb; son, Barry Hill; and three brothers, Charles Saunders, Ike Saunders, and Leroy Saunders.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Don White will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
