Judith "Judy" Eileen Moats, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born on March 16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Garmon Garrett McCoy, Sr. and Nellie Viola McCoy of Keedysville, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vernon Moats; three sisters, Frances Myers, Emma Ebersole, and Vonnie Jamison; one brother, David Jamison; and one granddaughter, Angel Hope Robinson. She is survived by her two brothers, Garmon "Jim" McCoy of Hagerstown, MD, and Ronnie McCoy of West Virginia; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammi and Eddie Harne of Hagerstown, MD, Tina Moats of Hagerstown, MD, and Tracy and Rick Robinson of Martinsburg, WV; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She loved camping and fishing and loved animals. She volunteered at Mount Hope Ministries and the Salvation Army. Judy had a huge heart, always helping others any way she could! She loved her country music, especially her favorite singers, Alan Jackson and Charlie Pride. Judy was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be forever loved and missed. Family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD on Sunday, December 27, 2020, from 1-3pm. Services will be held at Minnich Funeral Home on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 1pm. Interment will follow at Samples Manor Cemetery, 2128 Harpers Ferry Rd., Sharpsburg, MD 21782.
