Joyce "Muzz" Elaine Robison, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Williamsport Retirement Village.

Born March 22, 1945 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Mahlon and Edith Mae (Bowers) Shank.

Joyce was a housecleaner and worked for many years in environmental services at Washington County Hospital and Meritus Medical Center. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and kindness to everyone she encountered.

A former member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 212, Joyce enjoyed being part of her community and treasured the friendships she made there. In her spare time, she was a passionate fan of dirt track racing, particularly at Hagerstown Speedway and drag racing at Mason Dixon Dragway. Joyce also had a deep love for baseball, and she rarely missed her grandchildren's games, always eager to support them in their athletic endeavors.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Donna Kay Robison; her sons, James "Jim" Leon Shank (Lily) and Elwood "Woody" Russell Robison, Jr. (Amy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Shank, Kristin Reichard, Alejandro Arteaga, Angelle Robison, and Lyndon Robison; two great-grandchildren, Asher and Anna Reichard; and one sister, Audrey Way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood "PeeWee" Russell Robison, Sr.; her sisters, Anna Stewart, Patsy Chaney, Jean Doyle, Connie Jenkins, and Shirley Smith; her brothers, Calvin Shank, Donald Shank, and Gaither Shank; and one great-grandson, Elijah Shank.

The funeral will be held at 10am on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bobbie Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 6-8pm.
