JOYCE FAYE MOATS, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She was born July 16, 1947, in Hagerstown. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Ethel Barnes Moats. She retired from Coldwell Manufacturing in Williamsport, MD. She attended Virginia Avenue Church of God. Joyce is survived by one nephew, Gary Reeder and family of Greencastle, PA; two nieces , Carol Badorf and family and Julie Reeder all of Mercersburg, PA; and a close friend, Pat Billman of Hagerstown. In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Reeder. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Broadfording Church Cemetery, 13523 Broadfording Church Road, Hagerstown. Rev. Shawn M. Buchman will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Avenue Church of God, 17306 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
