JOSEPHINE REPKO, 75, of 13835 Greenfield Avenue, Maugansville, Maryland, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at her home. Born October 23, 1933 in Portage, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes A. Saylor Scoran. She was previously employed with The Puritan Foundation in Portage Township, PA. Josephine enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of St Ann Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Leonard John Repko; one daughter, JoAnn McGrew of Alliance, Ohio; one son, Michael J. Repko of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters, Mary Pastovic of Wilmore, PA, Agnes Sady and Genevieve Gloster both of Portage Township, PA; two brothers, Ralph Scoran and Leonard Scoran both of Portage Township, PA: three grandchildren, Eric S. Johnson, Sarah A. Johnson and Heather M. Whitfield. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Gallo; three brothers, John Scoran, Michael Scoran and Edward Scoran. The family would like to thank Hospice of Washington County for their support during a very difficult time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. C. Doug Kenney will be celebrant.
