JOSEPHINE ELIZABETH LEITER, 85, of 7903 Schoolhouse Avenue, Gig Harbor, Washington, died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at her home. Born April 14, 1919 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Catherine Weaver Doub. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester "Wick" Leiter, August 31, 1988. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Leiter Arnold of Gig Harbor, Washington; two sisters, Donna Nungesser of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Vivian Jackson of San Antonia, Texas; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m.
