Joseph "Joe" Wesley Resh, Sr., 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at home.

Born December 6, 1943, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late David Resh Sr. and Evelynne Resh.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Judy A. Resh.

Joe graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1960. He retired from Jamison Door after 30+ years of employment.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Joseph W. Resh, Jr. and Jerry L. Resh and wife, Lindy Resh; one sister, Donna Dornbusch; two brothers, David Resh, Jr. and wife, Susie Resh, and Albert Resh and wife, Ruth; one niece, Kristin Schupp; and one nephew, Peter Resh.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 127 Britner Ave., Williamsport, MD. Chaplain Eileen Flenner will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 6-8pm.
