JOSEPH HUBERT (JOE) HENNEBERGER, 82, a resident of Ravenwood Lutheran Village, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born May 21, 1925 in Hagerstown, Maryland he was the son of the late Hubert A. and Mildred Lookabaugh Henneberger. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a medic in the U. S. Army. He was co-owner of Acme Television Repair for sixty-three years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and served as an usher. He was a member of the American Legion, Funkstown Post 211, Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro, and Amvets Post 10. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Mary Catherine Henneberger; one daughter, Mary Jo Grimm of Hagerstown; one sister, Rose Toston of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Shrader and Phyllis Grubb. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. C. Doug Kenney will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by Amvets Post 10 and The Marine Corp League. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m.
