John Ernest Scheihing, Jr., 33 years young, left this Earth and arrived in Heaven on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Born July 3, 1987 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of his beloved mother, Jennifer Lee Scheihing, and father, John Ernest Scheihing, Sr., and stepmother, Julie Ann Scheihing. In addition to his parents and stepmother, John is lovingly remembered by his daughter and best friend, Leah Kyree Scheihing and her mother Samantha Asper; his baby girl, Layla Lee Scheihing and her mother Brandee Evans; three sisters, Amber Scheihing-Skeen, Raven Scheihing and Rain Scheihing; step siblings, Travis, Amber and Brittany Smith; uncles, aunts and cousins. John was a loving son, father, and friend. His loyalty, love and spirit will remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure to know him. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Jerry L. Lowans will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the service at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
