JOHN WELTY MOSER, SR., 49, of 18124 Clearway Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, July 30, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born May 21, 1958 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Connie L. (Resh) Hawbaker and the late Clyde Edwin Moser. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church. He was formerly employed with Beaver Mechanical Contractors. He was a self employed gunsmith. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Moser; two sons, John Welty Moser, Jr. of Hagerstown and Ryan Charles Wesley Moser, at home; a sister, Cindy L. Sword of Clear Spring, Maryland; two half sisters, Kim Moser of Atlanta, Georgia and Cassandra Weaver of Hagerstown; a half brother, Bradley Moser of Hagerstown; and a granddaughter, Zoe Paige Moser of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by his step-father Bob Robison. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Boulevard. The Rev. William C. Swope will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
