John Francis Miller, 60, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his home.

Born April 4, 1964, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph Miller, Sr. and Ruth Patricia (Smith) Miller.

John retired from the Maryland Correctional Training Center after many years of dedicated service. Prior to that, he worked at Eastalco Works. A true lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed spending time in nature, especially fishing.

He is survived by three brothers, Allan Raymond Miller (Carolyn), Edward Joseph Miller Jr. (Rosa), and George Gerard Miller (Roxanna); one sister, Teresa Miller Moats (Tiran); three nephews, Edward Jose Miller, Daniel Moats, and Justin Miller; and one niece, Patty McGinn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cecilia Ruth Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on February 10, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Father David Ray will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 12-2pm.
