John Lloyd Martz Jr., born and raised in Hagerstown Md., lived the last 5 years of his life in Midlothian Texas Passed away on Friday November 30, 2018. Born April 23, 1947, in Hagerstown, MD., he was the son of the late John Lloyd Martz Sr., and Betty Lee (Long) Martz. He is survived by one sister Susie (Martz) and husband Norman L. Stouffer, of Midlothian, Tx., one brother Gerald E. Martz Sr. and wife Barbara S., of Boonsboro. MD., and one sister-in law Linda Martz of Greencastle, Pa., 4 nieces and 5 nephews. Johnny is preceded in death by his father and mother; John Lloyd and Betty Lee Martz of Hagerstown and two brothers Gary Lee Martz Sr. and Richard Earl Martz Sr. In his younger years he was actively involved with the Sons of the Amvets Post 10 and enjoyed being in the Colorguard. There will be a viewing Friday December 7th from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. and a service will be held on Saturday December 8th at 1:00 P.M. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, followed by a graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery.
