John Dennis Koogle, Jr., 72, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Meritus Medical Center. Born January 12, 1950, he was the son of the late John Dennis and Nancy Ellen (Shaw) Koogle. John was a member of Potomac Fish and Game Club. He helped to get little league ball fields and organizations established, and coached Williamsport Little League for many years. He helped at San Mar Children's Orphanage, and was very generous to everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Edith Koogle; two sons, "JD" Koogle and Jason P. Koogle; one sister, Vickie Koogle (and Dr. Erhard Bremer); and numerous cousins and relatives around the state. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilsons Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Robert Robinson will officiate.
