JOHN JACOB BROWN, 62, of 310 Cameo Drive, Eden Pines, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 20, 1943 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles John Brown and Vivian Catherine Weaver Winfield. He attended Faith Chapel. He is survived by his step-mother, Dolores Brown of Hagerstown; five sisters, Sharon Smith of Falling Waters, West Virginia, and Ruby Teach, Cora Ashworth, Cherie Brown, and Jeanie Huntzberry, all of Hagerstown; four brothers, Charles J. Brown, Mark W. Brown, and Steven Winfield, all of Hagerstown, and Donald Winfield of Wolfsville, Maryland; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Edgar Winfield; one sister, Ruth Winfield; and one brother, Charles J. Brown, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Leitersburg, Maryland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m.
