JOANNA CREEK DIETERICH, 79, of 2250 Beverly Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital. Born September 23, 1931 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margie Smith Kline. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clyde A. Creek in 1973, and her second husband, William I. (Bill) Dieterich in 2009. She was a 1950 graduate of Hagerstown High School. Joanna was a member of Shiloh united Methodist Church. She volunteered as a leader with 4H, and as a den leader with Cub Scout Pack 27. She was a member of Westernaires Square Dance Club. She is survived by four sons, Michael Allen Creek, and C. Eugene Creek, both of Hagerstown, Robert David Creek of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and Gerald Lynn Creek of Smithsburg, Maryland; one daughter, Cynthia Ann Krugh of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Koontz, and Helen Lewis; and three brothers, Richard Kline, Bruce Kline and Ralph Kline. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Joy E. Zepp will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.
