JOAN MARIE KING, 76 of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away Saturday November 5, 2016 at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center where she was a resident for eighteen years. Born May 9, 1940, in Oxon Hill, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Eugene A. and Agnes Mae Sydnor Grimes. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Milton King. She is survived by two sons, Kenny Bowman and wife Crystal of PA and J. Mike Bowman and wife, Shirley of SC; one daughter, Tina McDonald and husband, Donald of Hagerstown, MD ; sister, Jane Lockhart of MD; four grandchildren, Brandy, D.J., Nichole and Harley; and four great grandchildren. In additional to her, parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Whelan. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 11, 2016 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
