Jeremy Lee Keckler, 48, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Hagerstown.
Born on October 31, 1977, in Hagerstown, Jeremy was the beloved son of Rick Keckler and Carol Elaine (O'Haver) Rickett.
Jeremy worked as a plumber and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time playing men's softball and cornhole, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and making memories with family and friends.
Jeremy will be remembered most for his sense of humor and warm personality. He was a funny, cheerful man who could light up any room he walked into. His laughter was contagious, and he had a special gift for making others smile. Jeremy was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, and his kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Ryleigh Palmer and Katie Keckler, who meant the world to him, as well as his parents, step parents, Paul Gordon Jr. and Victoria Oldham, grandmother, Joyce O'Haver and siblings, Paul Gordon III, Heather Wise, Chris Oldham, Jackie Kinzer, Jason Keckler, Justin Reese, Josh Reese, and special friend Kelly Free.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Robert and Barbara Keckler, Charles O'Haver, and siblings, Jonathan Gordon and Jimmy Reese.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland.
In lieu of other arrangements, those wishing to honor Jeremy's memory may donate flowers or make contributions toward the cost of the service.
Please come dressed in casual attire as Jeremy loved everyone for who they are. Jeremy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
