Jenny Mae Mintdrop, 93, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL.

Jenny was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Brown) Deitle of Meyersdale, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll "Peck" G. Mintdrop; one sister, Viola Laslo and husband, Robert; and one brother, Irvin Sivits and wife, Leola Hollada Sivits.

She survived by Ollie and Dee Franco (care providers) of Delray, FL; one nephew, Edwin "Jim" Sivits and wife, Shirley; Russell Sivits and wife, Jennifer; also Rachel and Nathan, all of Accident, MD.

Jenny and Peck spent their younger years in Hagerstown, MD until their employment moved them to Florida where she was an amazing seamstress for several garment factories as well as a supervisor where she learned to use different types of sewing machines. Upon retirement, she also worked in an upscale dress shop which she loved very much. When at home, she enjoyed being in her kitchen cooking.

While living in Hollywood, FL, she and Peck had a huge lemon tree in their yard. When visiting them, she always greeted you with a fresh glass of her own lemonade.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Cedar lawn Memorial Park.
