JEFFREY HANFORD WILLIS, 65, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his home. Born January 26, 1951, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Paul Joseph Willis of Hagerstown, and the late Betty Lou Grimm Willis. Jeff was employed with First Data. He was previously employed with Brandt Cabinet Works for fifteen years and Rust-Oleum, Williamsport, MD, for twenty-six years. He was an active member of the Virginia Avenue Church of God. He had been a Boy Scout leader with Pack 58 and Troop 58, Downsville, MD. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Rocky J. Willis; a daughter, Kayla Jean Willis of Boonsboro and a son, Kevin Hanford Willis and fianc, Sarah Pysell of Hagerstown; two sisters, Marita Wilson of Hagerstown and Karen Niksch of Henryetta, OK, and special friends, Rick and Sharon Martz of Mercersburg, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Willis and a brother, Thayne Willis. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Virginia Avenue Church of God, 17306 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dr. A. Paul Harne and Rev. Shawn M. Bushman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the Church.
