JEFFREY LYNN VANCE, 47, of Hagerstown, Maryland, formerly of Falling Waters, West Virginia, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born February 25, 1961 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Shirley Ann Whitmore Vance of Hagerstown, MD and the late Joseph P. Vance, Sr. He was employed with Jamison Door Company for five years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Brenda Rowe of Hagerstown, MD; two brothers, Joseph Vance, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD and Allen Vance of Falling Waters, WV; his girlfriend, Elaine Davis of Hagerstown, MD; one niece, Brittany Rowe; two nephews, Joseph Vance, III and Dennis Rowe, II; one great niece, Katie Snyder. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Shane Wilt will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
