JEFFERY LYNN "JEFF" HENSON, 50 of 510 South Cannon Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, November 17, 2008 at his home. Born February 19, 1958 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of James L. Henson, Sr. and Claudette L. Palmer Henson. He was employed as a mechanic for 18 years with Hamilton/Pontiac. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a member of North American Rod and Gun Club, South Mountain Rod & Gun Club, Goodwill Athletic Club and Williamsport Red Men, Conococheague Tribe #84. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Patty Powley of Rockville, Maryland; three brothers, James L. Henson, Jr. of Hagerstown, Terry L. Henson of Boone, North Carolina and Michael Gorman of Birmingham, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis W. Henson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington Street. Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Prayers will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Virginia 23058.
