Jean Meredith Anders, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Doey's House.

Born June 8, 1939 in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Meredith (McDevitt) Wells.

Jean was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Carl H. Anders, at home; two daughters, Julie Crist (Brad), and Sandra Scotto Di Carlo (Antonio), both of Williamsport, three grandchildren, Brandon Greene (Autumn), Ryan Greene, and Nicole Spence (Ryan); one great-grandchild, Carson Spence; and five step-grandchildren, Francesco Scotto Di Carlo, Tara Crosby, Nina Itnyre, Bradley Crist, and Chelsie Crist; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Everitt Murray and James "Jimmy" Wells.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Deacon Michael McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 6-8pm.
