JASON LYNN SHANHOLTZ, 33, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Hagerstown. Born April 17, 1974 in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of Gary A. Brown, Sr. and Donna J. Barnhart Brown of Hagerstown. He served in the U. S. Marines. He was formerly employed with C.E.C.O. (Catonsville Electric Company). In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Buffy Shanholtz; three daughters, Mercedes D. Shanholtz, Alyssa Shanholtz, and Saige Shanholtz, all of Hagerstown; one son, Michael S. Moroz, II of Hagerstown; one sister, Megan B. Miles of Hagerstown; two brothers, Gary Allen Brown, Jr., and Frederick E. Miles, both of Hagerstown; maternal grandmother, Doris Jones of Hagerstown; paternal grandmother, Sally Jones of Williamsport, Maryland; nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Allen Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U. S. Marine Corp. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p. m.
