Jason "Jay" Richard Myers, 50, of Hagerstown, passed away, February 12, 2026, at his home.

Born December 2, 1975 in Washington County, MD, he was the son of Richard Don Myers and Robin (McSherry) Hildebrand.

Everyone who knew Jay knew he had a heart of gold who loved hard. He was headstrong and one of a kind.

Jay enjoyed long bike rides on his Harley and canoe trips on the river. He loved listening to music. He was a fan of baseball and car racing. Jay loved his animals, Pikacu, Zoe, and Harper. He took pride in his career as a DOT Technician at AC&T.

Jay's pride and joy was his wife, Melissa, and their son, Johnny. Jay had so much pride in Johnny with following his dreams in his career and becoming a dad. Jay was excited about becoming papa to baby Jane.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa "Missy"; their son, Johnny Leone, and his wife, Jordan; one granddaughter, Jane; his twin brother, Christopher "Chris" Myers, and his wife, Michelle; nieces, Kristin, McKenzie, and Lexi; great-niece, Aurora; his step-father, Bobby Hildebrand; and step-mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Myers.

Jay was preceded in death by his nanny, Helen, who he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 6-7pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. A funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Henry Marquiss officiating.

Family and friends will rejoin at the Hub Pub (old Benny's Pub), 49 Eastern Blvd. N, Hagerstown, MD.
