Janice Henrietta Rennels, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at the age of 72 in Frederick, MD.

Born on February 26, 1952, in Tidworth, England, Janice's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.  Her life was a testament to her passion for the Lord, also art, and her deep love for animals.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Andrew C. Riffle and Edward R. Harris; her loving daughter, Dawn M. Riffle; her adored grandchildren, Jason and Samantha Mullen; and her caring sister, Devina Thompson. Janice's role as a mother and grandmother was paramount in her life, and the legacy of her kind spirit, zest for life, and love of the natural world will live on through them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Edward Harris, and her sister, Jacqueline Riffle.

Janice's life journey was filled with laughter, artistry, and compassion. Her memory will be held in the hearts of her family and friends as a beacon of love and warmth. As we say goodbye to Janice, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible imprint she has left on our hearts. Her light will continue to shine brightly through her family.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
