Janice Elizabeth Morris, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was born on July 9, 1937 to the late Rodney Marshall and Mary Campbell Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Morris, her granddaughters, Kristina Miller and Kristina McLucas, her great-great-grandson, Elijah Burcker, her stepdaughter, Tammy Fazenbaker, and many brothers and sisters. Janice is survived by her daughter, Mary Maffitt and her husband, Leonard "Red" Maffitt, her son, James W. Miller, her stepdaughters, Rebecca Burcker Bisel and Deborah Morris McLucas, many grandchildren, and many, many, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
