JANICE ELAINE KLINE, 81, of 6216 Appletown Road, Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Kline. Born December 25, 1930, in Locust Grove, Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Grace Smith Rice. She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School in 1948. She was employed by London Fog Manufacturing, retiring after twenty-seven years. She was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Rohrersville, Maryland. She is survived by one daughter, Maria Martz of Boonsboro; two sons, David Martz, and his wife, Joann, of Williamsport, Maryland, and Dana Martz of Boonsboro ; a longtime best friend, Marie Zeigler of Hagerstown; a very close, best friend Carolyn Jones of Boonsboro; and two grandchildren, Chris and Erin Baltozer, both of Boonsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. Jimmy Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rohrersville, Maryland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
