Janet Boyd Varnadoe, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her home. Born October 22, 1941 in College Park, GA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Amy L. (Lee) Boyd. Janet moved to Hagerstown in 1982. She retired from Lowes with 20 years of service. She was a member of Funkstown Legion Post 211 Auxiliary. Janet is survived by her daughter, Tamer Abbott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Al Varnadoe; and brother, Terry Boyd. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 7 to 9pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
