Janet Lorraine Haines, 79, of Maugansville, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her home. Born September 28, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Betty Knodle. Janet enjoyed playing bingo. She adored her kids and grandkids. She helped at a daycare where everyone knew her as "Nan". She worked in the school system for many years, where she was a lunch aide and known by many in the community. Janet is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jones (Charles); her son, Jeff Haines (Cheryl); her grandkids, Ashley Keefer (Juwuane Sandridge), Jason Keefer (Brittany McNeill), and Jeremy Keefer (Jessica); her great-grandkids, Jayvien, Jayda, Paris, and Payton Sandridge, Delaney and Clara Keefer, Hadley and Keaton; and one great-great-grandchild, Jarai Sandridge. Services will be private.
