James Robert Willard, Sr., 87 of Hagerstown, MD, who was born January 24, 1932 in Boonsboro, MD, passed away at Doeys House on Friday, December 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie V. (Thomas) Willard. James retired from AT&T, and he was a faithful attender of the Fundamental Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, James Willard, Jr.; one sister, Charlotte Duffey; and a good family friend, Kelly Rag. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Dan Staley officiating. The burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 to 2pm.
