James Earl Starkey, Jr., 71, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Hagerstown Healthcare Center. Born January 12, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of the late James Earl Starkey, Sr. and Violet Yvonne Finch. James is survived by his son, James Starkey III; two daughters, Jaime Owen and Diana Mignogna; five grandchildren, Tyler Eyer, Felicity Mayhew, Asia Owen, Joseph Owen V, and Nevin Owen; one sister, Vickie Souders; and two brothers, Michael Starkey and Steve Starkey. James was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristina Starkey, and one sister, Virginia Starkey. A gathering of friends will be announced at a later date.
