James Ray Rhinehart, 68, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center. Born May 16, 1953, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Earl and Naomi "Ruth" (Mills) Coleman. James was a gun collector and loved shooting his guns. He never met a stranger and was always helping others. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Linda Rhinehart; stepson, Jason Files (Jamie); two step-daughters, Jennifer Carter and Tammy Bauer (Will); three sisters, Tammy Kline (Scott), Peggy Keller (Curt), and Teresa Busby (Bill); two brothers, Larry Rhinehart (Tracey) and Mark Rhinehart; step-brother, Mark Coleman (Tammi); nine grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by step-son-in-law, Rick Carter. Graveside services will be held 11am Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
