James Edward Resh, 66, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. Born August 22, 1955, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late James Lewis and Constance Glenna (Shambaugh) Resh. James was a second-generation co-owner/operator of Richardson's Restaurant and a member of Abate. He had a love of motorcycles and his precious 1973 Javelin. He is survived by his wife, June Resh; two daughters, Sabrina Metzger, and spouse, Pat, and Tanya Resh; two step-daughters, Brittany Goff, and spouse, James, and Ashlyn Heimberger; one step-son, Nigel Reeder; one sister, Vicki Martin, and spouse, Dennis; one brother, Robert W. Resh; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 6pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Ralph Bradley, III will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 5, 2021, prior to services from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
