James Edward King, 73, of Knoxville, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Meritus Medical Center.

Born March 5, 1952 in Montgomery County, MD, he was the son of the late James Raymond and Sarah (Kemp) King.

James was veteran of the U. S. Air Force and employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Earlene R. King; one daughter, Crystal Dove, of WV; one step daughter, Susan Rooney (James), of Hedgesville, WV; one stepson, Joseph Pyne (Lisa), Funkstown, MD; and one sister, Margaret King, of Frederick, MD.

Services will be 1pm Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Bill Divelbiss officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg, MD with military honors.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, one hour prior to services.
