JAMES EDWARD HAWKINS, JR., 43, of 709 Washington Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born August 17, 1962 in Rockville, Maryland, he was the son of the late James Edward Hawkins, Sr. and Anne Culp Hawkins. He was a graduate of Rockville High School. He attended Montgomery County Community College. He was the Maryland State Wrestling Champion two times. He is survived by one brother, Joe Hawkins of Hagerstown; one half-brother, Leroy Barton of Mt. Airy, Maryland; and one aunt. He was cremated. There will be no services. Visitation will be at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Saturday from 1 to 2 p. m. Please omit flowers.
