JAMES O. FREY, 80, of Boonsboro, MD died Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home. Born April 22, 1929 in Washington County, MD he was the son of the late Ralph and Edna Kelly Frey. He served in the U.S. Army. He was previously employed at Potomac Edison. He was a self employed dairy farmer and was a park attendant at Devil's Backbone Park. He is survived by his wife, Melodie Frey; mother in law, Thelma Brown Troup; one daughter, Kristi Lescalleet and husband Roy of Boonsboro; two sons, James K. Frey and wife Mary of Boonsboro and Scott E. Frey of Boonsboro; grandchildren, Teri and Cory Lescalleet, Kevin Frey and wife Raena, Amanda and Katie Frey and Ryan and Kenny Frey; step sister, Kathleen Pennesi Everline; a sister in-law, Frances Norris of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Pheabus; a half brother, Chester Norris; a step brother, Roy Cave. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Joy E. Zepp officiating. Burial will be at the Bakersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00-9:00 pm at the funeral home.
