Jacob William Shaw, Jr., 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Doey’s House.

Born January 6, 1942, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Jacob William Shaw, Sr. and Susie (Faulders) Shaw.

Jacob was a machine operator for Gray Concrete for 35 years. One of his greatest passions was his trucks, and he took great pride in owning and caring for them throughout the years.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Shaw and wife, Lisa, and Frank Shaw; granddaughter, Lauren Kelley and husband, Travis; step grandchildren, Breydan Kelley, Kyler Kelley and Cameron Kelley; and his stepbrother, Kenny Shaw.

The funeral will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Aaron Hartman will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery.
