Obituary

JACK NORWOOD TROVINGER, 87, of 19800 Tranquility Circle, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Ravenwood Nursing Home. Born March 12, 1920 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late John J. and Nora Alice Miner Trovinger. He was employed with Pangborn Corporation for forty-three years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and was an usher for sixty-two years. He was Co-editor with his wife, of Eagle Wings. He was a member of the First Hagerstown Hose Fire Company, and had served as secretary; a fifty year member of the B.P.O.Elks #378; and a member, and former He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Virginia Elizabeth Trovinger; two nieces, Brenda Martin and Virginia Martin, both of Hagerstown; one nephew, Terry Trovinger of Hagerstown; two great-nephews and three great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold C. Trovinger. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one-half hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
