IVY MAY REED RIDENOUR, 85 of Resh Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Loyalton of Hagerstown. Born January 21, 1924, in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Florence M. Long Reed. She retired from the Washington County Public School Food Services. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Emory W. Ridenour; two sons, W. Lee Ridenour and wife Rosalie and Dennis M. Ridenour and wife JoEllen all of Hagerstown, MD; two brothers, Charles Don Reed and Daniel L. Reed both of Hagerstown, MD; one grandson, Christopher Ridenour of Delaware; two great-granddaughters and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Reed Wise; two brothers, Carl Reed and Fred Reed. Funeral services will be conducted at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd. on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
